Stalls Today Butchers
Ashley O'Neil's family has been trading in The English Market since 1929 and must be doing something right with their meat as they are still around and serving both local Restaurants and people from Cork.

The stalls situated just inside the entrance of Grand Parade has been offering fresh meat, pork and mutton to both local restaurants and the local alike.
One of the longest running family business in the Market selling meat for over a century.
Like all butchers in the market their meat is brought in from local suppliers and worked on the chopping board.
The meat centre one of the eight remaining butchers located on the first aisle in stall number sixteen run by Kenneth Barrett in the English market.
The stall, over the years has become a very integral part of the fabric of the area being surrounded by various spice shops and coffee shops, tasty wine premises and most of all a happy and welcoming atmosphere.
